Happy Friday everyone!
Today I woke up earlier than usual when I sleep in. I guess it has to do with the time change. I had the laundry and cleaning done by lunchtime.
For lunch I made grilled cheese sandwiches. I made a special one for me. A Provolone and Brussel sprout grilled cheese. I would have made the kids a special one but they weren’t interested.
For dinner we had leftover beans and cornbread.
After dinner my youngest and I went and seen our loved ones new baby. She was so so cute and cuddly. I could have held her for hours. We walked to their house which was down hill. That means the walk back home was uphill.
I’ve got in my goal of 10,000 steps so far. I want to get in more but my body is feeling old today. I think the cool down has put my muscles and joints in shock. I did dome extra stretching. It helped but I’m still feeling stiff and sore.
Last night I went over my calories. I was watching a movie with my youngest and had a craving for a bologna sandwich. So that put me about 300 over my goal.
I’m going to try to add more exercises in the week. I hope it will help me lose inches in some problem areas.
Tomorrow I’m going to try to remember to weigh in. I did get to add a pair of jeans and two skirts back into my wardrobe. They had been to tight and one skirt at one time couldn’t even button.
I sometimes look at myself and see a change and other times I see no change. It is a very slow struggle for me but at least I’m sticking with it. I gave myself a year to accomplish what I haven’t been able to do in years. This time I hope to not only reach my goal but keep the weight off for good.
This blog is what helps me stay strong and keeps me moving forward.
