Today was just another ordinary day. I’m not complaining ,I like ordinary days. I just hope tomorrow it won’t be raining. Might have rain/snow mix this weekend. I hope they are wrong!
I just finished getting in 15,000 steps with 107 active minutes. I’m happy with that so far since my legs are feeling tired. I need to get back to doing some strengthening exercises and stretching.
I’ve ate well today. Which I did yesterday too until I got into the peanut butter and dark chocolate chips. Tonight , I’m going to have to stay out of the peanut butter . Anyone else have a problem with peanut butter cravings?
I made a vanilla protein shake today and added a couple Tbls of butterscotch pudding mix to it. It was good and it kept me full a few hours.
For dinner I made a crustless quiche.
4 egg whites
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup of broccoli
1 small onion
1 serving of ham (I used honey ham luncheon meat)
Bake 350 45mins or till done
200 calories per serving Makes 4
There are so many ways to make a quiche. If you have eggs, and cheese you can whip one up. I’ve used different vegetables like brussel sprouts and spinach. You can even change your cheese. I like swiss or I’ve even used plain mozzarella. It’s just whatever you’re craving or have on hand. I would love to hear your favorites!
