I got up today not feeling it lol. I did not sleep well and I was sore. I wasn’t sore from Zumba, just the getting older aches and pains. Once I started moving I felt better. That and some ibuprofen.
I went to the calendar and added up how many days I had left to reach my weight goal. Just a little more than 6 weeks. I think I procrastinated a little too much. That’s okay because I’m going to work hard the next six weeks. The scale gave me the kick in the butt I needed.
I need to lose two pounds a week to make it. So I went to my trusty fitness pal and put in my goal. I have to eat 1200 calories a day and burn 250-300 a day to make it happen.
I’m a little bit behind on my steps today because it’s hot. I did 15 minutes of Zumba and thought I was going to have a heat stroke. So, I’m just going to do some walking while watching tv because I won’t be doing any late night snacking tonight.
I have ate my calories and I have to say I did good today. We had a veggie dinner. We had pinto beans, fresh corn on the cob, fresh tomatoes, and cucumbers. The garden came in handy today. I did make my husband fried zucchini and I did eat three slices. That’s a lot better than a bowl of fried zucchini I usually eat. I also had 1/2 a serving of cornbread because let’s face it you gotta have it with beans. Now, I just have 43 days to get through.
