Day 351   My Struggle………..

Happy Friday Eve! I’m praying for a great three day weekend. I still haven’t got in the pool one more time like I wanted. That’s my plan for the weekend. I just want to relax and enjoy it. Last weekend went by way too fast.

Yesterday, when I wrote my blog I was way under on my steps. I managed to get 16,000 steps and over 100 active minutes. Tonight I had Zumba so I have my steps in and 70 active minutes.

I did good on my food calories today but I’m over on my sugar again. I’m over today because I had a Coke Life. I haven’t had one in over a week. I was feeling tired before Zumba so I felt I needed a little kick.

Day 350  My Struggle………

I went grocery shopping this morning after taking the kids to school. Going to town kills my whole day. I have to go back Friday to have my daughter’s car aligned. I really dread it but it has to be done. I’ve been tired since I’ve been back. I guarantee tonight I’ll be wide awake when I should be sleeping.

I’ve done good eating today. I’m getting pretty good at staying in calorie range. Still need to work on sugar and sodium though.

I’m way behind on steps. I knew today would be a challenge meeting my goal. I have a few hours left. I’m not giving up yet. Let you know tomorrow if I make my goal.

Day 349   My Struggle……..

It’s only Tuesday but I’m ready for Friday. I believe the kids are too! Three day weekend due to the eclipse Monday.

I’m under calories for the day but I’m over on sugar. That’s due to my Halo ice cream I had for a snack earlier. If you’re wondering , I did eat the whole pint. That’s why I like Halo. They know you’re not going to stop eating once you start. If you eat their low calorie ice cream ,it saves you from the guilt you’d get from the regular pints of ice cream.

I’ve got in my steps today with 70 active minutes. I had Zumba again this evening so it was easy. I don’t tomorrow so it will be a challenge to get them in.

Day 348    My Struggle………

Today was a normal Monday. Clean the house and do laundry. Nothing exciting there. I weighed in today and I now have 6 pounds to go. Talk about cutting it close. Only 17 days to go!

I have got in 13,000 steps so far with 81 active minutes. I have Zumba to thank for that.

My calories are good for the day. I mentioned the protein shakes are helping during the day. I think my evening snack of string cheese is great for evening. Probably, because I take my time eating it.

Day 347  My Struggle………

Where did the weekend go? It seemed to go by way to fast, along with summer.

We had nice homecoming at church. I did manage just eat a bite of things. I’m pretty happy with myself. Not sure my calorie amount but I know if I only eat a few hundred more calories I shouldn’t be over my calorie goal.

I’m still working on my steps for the day. I took a nap after church since the water in the pool was too cold. I took a nice short walk with my girls this evening. I bought me a variety puzzle book the other day. I finally got to sit outside on the porch and work a few. So, all in all it’s been a great day!

Day 346    My Struggle……..

Today I wanted to get in the pool. I also had a lot laundry, cleaning, and cooking to do. It rained so I got everything done. So maybe it will be pretty tomorrow and I can go swimming after church since I’ve got everything done till Monday.

We have homecoming at church tomorrow. I’m so excited! The dinner after is going to be a struggle. I figured I’ll just have spoonfuls of things lol. I think regular food is about 50 calories a spoonful and if it’s a dessert 100 calories a spoonful.

I fixed turkey, stuffing, potatoes, and rolls today. I know it’s not thanksgiving but I sure was craving it. My son’s grill saved the day because our electric went out due to a tree falling on a pole somewhere. I used the grill to boil water and warm up the gravy. Thankfully the turkey was already done.

 I put my calories in before I ate so I wouldn’t go over. I had a protein drink for breakfast and it may be strange but a deviled egg and string cheese for lunch. 

I even have in over 14,000 steps with 78 active minutes. I did some walking in place while the girls and I watched a movie.

Day 345   My Struggle…….

I’m tired this evening. I have so much still to do but it looks like I’ll be doing it tomorrow. I went to town this morning after dropping the kids off to school.

It was a grocery trip with some fun added in. I had breakfast with some family that came in from Ohio. I tried to eat as good as I could considering we were at Cracker Barrel. I ordered one pancake with sugar free syrup and two egg whites scrambled. 

If I don’t eat anything else but a string cheese for snack. My calories are good for the day. 

I had to go to town again after coming home and putting groceries away. This time I went down the other side of the mountain to go pick my oldest up so she could be home a few days. We’re still working on getting her car fixed. She moves back in the dorms next weekend. I hope it’s ready for her by then. 

Do to all the driving I’ve done ,I’m behind on steps. I’m going to try my best to get them in later. It should only take about 30 minutes. I hope I can walk that long at least.
